30 American Don Quixotes Now Introduce Bill To Combat Global Islamophobia
Initially USA had entered Afghanistan brandishing its lances like the Don Quixote of yore. Then after 20 years they suddenly and shamefully abandoned the Afghans to the brutality if the Talibans.
Now within months another group of over 30 Don Quixotes who happen to be American lawmakers led by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar have introduced a bill in the House of Representatives against growing incidents of Islamophobia worldwide.
The bill not only urges the State Department to include state-sponsored Islamophobic violence and impunity in its annual human rights reports. This determined band wants to turn their Congress into a Circus full of jokers so they not only want to combat Islamophobic state policies and violence in countries like China, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, the European Union and elsewhere, but also in India. A nation, the USA, where the civil police treats its black citizens as second class citizens and acts brutally against them even for minor crimes, is trying to censure a secular country like India !!!
As usual, the GREAT CIRCUS has named the bill The Combating International Islamophobia Act. Apart from the Don Quixotes, the bill is being endorsed by several biased organisations including the American Muslim Empowerment Network (AMEN), the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT). Proponents of the bill, which requires the State Department to create a Special Envoy for monitoring and combating Islamophobia, have put India in the category of China and Myanmar for alleged atrocities against Muslims. As if India, one of the safest place for law abiding muslims, will start shivering on hearing such actions !!
The creation of the Special Envoy will help policymakers better understand the interconnected, global problem of anti-Muslim bigotry, the group of over 30 lawmakers said. It will also establish a comprehensive strategy for establishing US leadership in combating Islamophobia worldwide.
India should definitely never issue any diplomatic or other visa to such envoy or its representatives. We require no certificates from such type of jokers.
The Ministry of External Affairs in the past has rightly asserted that India is proud of its secular credentials, its status as the largest democracy and pluralistic society with a longstanding commitment to tolerance and inclusion. The Indian Constitution guarantees fundamental rights to all its citizens, including its minority communities, it has said.
India is a more vibrant democracy than USA where the Constitution protects religious freedom, and where democratic governance and the rule of law further promote and protect fundamental rights.
Congresswoman Omar said, “We are seeing a rise in Islamophobia in nearly every corner of the globe.” A press statement issued by her office said that there has been a staggering rise in incidents of violent Islamophobia. She is advised to visit various countries in Africa and Middle East and will herself come to know why others are becoming paranoid about terrorism.
Rather she should start focusing why their us so much atrocities being committed in Various states of the United States of America against the Blacks, Hispanics and Mexicans. Also why is USA always supporting Governments all over run by Dictators. She should also start focusing on the targeting of minority Muslim communities in Muslim-majority countries like Pakistan, Bahrain and Iran, the problem of Islamophobia is global in scope. She should also concentrate on persecution of Mk2 purity Hindu and Sikh community in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
