Priya Prakash Varrier, popularly referred to as the ‘winking sensation’, has opened up about how she was receiving film offers from different industries after her “wink” got viral. Months after reports of her rejecting the Allu Arjun film, Priya has also opened up about the same.
Priya shared why she rejected that film and contrary to reports, the real reason is that she was occupied with her film.
She has been quoted as saying, “I missed an opportunity with Allu Arjun sir. When the viral song was released, there was an offer to work with him. But then I couldn’t do it because I was working for Oru Adaar Love.”
Adding that there were few more offers from Telugu movies and that the discussions are going on even now, Priya told the portal, “I have got a lot of offers from different industries including Tollywood.
But then I have not been able to commit to anything because, since past one year, we have been working on Oru Adaar Love.”
She also revealed that when that song had released, they had only shot for that song and the whole movie was pending. “That is why I couldn’t commit to any other movie in the past year,” she added.
For the uninitiated, Oru Adaar Love is a Malayalam romantic comedy. Directed by Omar Lulu and co-starring Lijo Panadan, Sarang Jayaprakash in key roles.
Besides this, Priya will also be seen in Sridevi Bungalow, which landed in controversies the day the film’s trailer had released.
