India tightens security following ISIS intel

Security in Kerala has been beefed up based on the intelligence of a Lakshadweep bound vessel carrying 15 ISIS terrorists.
According to Indian media, the vessel has left Sri Lankan shores and headed towards Lakshadweep islands.
Indian Police Department has taken steps to inform police divisions along the coastal belt and Chief District Coastal police officers.
Indian media revealed that the Indian coastal police department has been vigilant from the 23rd of this month.
When News 1st inquired Navy Media spokesperson Lieutenant Commander Isuru Suriyabandara on this matter he denied awareness of such information.
He further noted that the Sri Lanka Navy has not been informed of the matter by the Indian security services.
The lieutenant commander added that security has been strengthened in the coastal areas as a precaution.
