Under Modi 2 Country Will Shift From 2 Gear To Fourth Gear
As Narendra Modi takes oath and forms his Cabinet for the second term in Office as Indian prime minister, many challenges will be waiting for him. The immediate action will be required to boost the economy and revamp the National Security Policies.
Presently the World Economy has slowed down all over the globe, though in comparison Indian Economy is way ahead. The two months-long election inertia and hurdles created by an eccentric American President with his Trade War with China, sanctions on Iranian and Venezuelan oil, CAATSA and sanction threats on India will have to be tackled by Modi without ceding ground to any one. Trump has also threatened India with a separate trade war.
So after the super victory at the polls, the next victory is required in the economic field both within and outside in the bad bad world.
Issues pertaining to un employment, development of manufacturing capacity, value addition capability, increase in domestic consumption, infrastructure development and expansion have to be tackled on War footing.
The “Make in India” initiative of 2014 has to be intensified and slowly converted into quality MADE IN INDIA products. Taking advantage of the US China trade war, with some deft handling we can attract the good manufacturing companies shifting out of China, to India.
However while becoming a new global manufacturing center the trash needs to be kept out. The aim is to move up the quality ladder and also keeping the environmental factor in mind. The term “ Chinese maal “ should not become “ Indian maal “.
Apart from focusing on export where we will have conflicts with USA and may be others, we need to focus on internal consumption and trade within SAARC and BIMSTEC. This will also improve our security scenario within the region.
Bilateral relations with SAARC, BIMSTEC, Russia, China, Japan, USA, ASEAN, Israel, France, Australia the Arab World, Africa, Europe and South America will need to focused upon and in the priority given. Pakistan will have to be marginalized till they prove their fitness to join SAARC once again.
Aim is to regain our position as the World Top Economic Power. Other things will follow on its own.
Modi has next 5 years to reach the goal.
