US administration running short of money to help Ukraine
“We continue to provide Ukraine with what we can on what’s remaining from the Presidential drawdown authority that we have,” Deputy Press Secretary of the Pentagon Sabrina Singh said
The US administration has used almost all the funds at its disposal to help Kiev authorities but continues military supplies to Ukraine so far, Deputy Press Secretary of the Pentagon Sabrina Singh said at the briefing.
“We continue to provide Ukraine with what we can on what’s remaining from the Presidential drawdown authority that we have. We are running low,” the spokesperson said.
“I would hope that Congress over these next few weeks not only pass a full time appropriation but also passes our supplemental because we need to keep providing Ukraine with what it needs on the battlefield,” she added.
