Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin said that “specific results are not reached”

Russia is not satisfied with the way the memorandum with the UN Secretariat on the supply of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to the world market is being implemented, Head of the Russian interdepartmental delegation and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin said.

“We cannot be satisfied with the implementation of the Russia-UN memorandum, because specific results are not reached, but we get the same difficulties, despite statements that agricultural exports and exports of fertilizers are supposedly not subject to sanctions,” he said.

The deputy foreign minister stated, “We appreciate the efforts that the UN Secretary General”, but added that Russia “needs tangible results that would allow us to do what was laid down in the original Istanbul agreements”.
