A military book saying China will defeat India in 10 days reeks of Jhola Chhaps making Military Strategy Statements
A book is set to be released soon which predicts that China is capable of defeating India in just 10 days. The book goes on saying that in the advent of a war between the two nations, China will capture Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh with hardly any losses and there is very little India could do about it. This is because the Indian military is preparing for the wrong war.
“Agree or disagree, the Strategist, he forgets to add— Jhola Chaap, has made a thorough analysis of the turbulent times. It is an important and timely read”, thus endorses an opposition leader.
Well there was a Captain Liddle hart, who turned out to be a great military Strategist and who is Said to have taught many Generals. However this book we are talking about certainly seems to have been written by a Jhola Chaap if it predicts China capturing Arunachal once again and that too in just 10 days. Some one who has adorn military uniform for a short period and has left certainly cannot lay claim to be an expert on military strategy.
The author also writes that China’s war with India will be “reminiscent” of the 1991 Gulf War.
“The US military’s battle networks connecting sensors to shooters and guided munitions with support from space assets had induced shock and awe in militaries worldwide.
Similarly, China’s war with India will stun the world with the use of artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, imaginative war concepts, and collaboration between humans and intelligent robots. China has been preparing for this since the 2017 Doklam crisis after which it permanently augmented its troops across the Line of Actual Control.”
Well then what happened in Galwan? Probably PLA Western Theatre Commander took full advice from such strategists. Indians in no time matched the Chinese strength, then the PLA went into a paralysis. Xi Shinping had no choice left but to change Theatre Commander four times in a short span !
A similar thing has happened now in Taiwan during Pelisi’s visit.
Since 2014, all types of gas bags in the print and TV media have been deprived of patronage. So they have just one aim that is to deride the ruling dispensation.
India’s global vision has not whittled down to Pakistan but grown to become a World leader. Pakistan is now just a minor blip on one corner of the India radar. Our leadership now takes in the world view in its lenses before making strategic judgments. Consequently, our establishment is now most sought after by both Russia and USA, Israel and Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia and so on. Even the Chinese have come to Delhi to consult on Afghanistan.
India’s national security and territorial integrity is certainly non-negotiable. A timid and docile response in 1948 and 1962 gave away POK and Ladakh. Now to get them back is no easy task but it will be done no doubt.
