Arvind Kejriwal’s government has again took a U-Turn on the Max Hospital case. Social media ripped Arvind Kejriwal apart.
Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, whose licence was cancelled by the Delhi government, resumed its operations from Wednesday after it got relief from the Court of Financial Commissioner.
A release issued by the hospital authorities said operations were being resumed following a stay order issued by the appropriate appellate authority to whom an appeal was made.
The release said: “We are fully focussed on providing quality care to all our patients and honouring our commitment of ensuring free treatment to the economically weaker sections of the society.”
Some Users slammed Arvind Kejriwal for cancelling the license and using the situation as a publicity stunt.
The Delhi government cancelled the hospital’s licence earlier this month after the hospital declared one of the twins born dead. The child survived for a week and subsequently died due to medical complications.
The Delhi government is yet to come out with a statement. When contacted, the health department said it was not aware of any such order and their legal team was pursuing the matter.
But some accused Leutinent Governer for cancelling the license which they claimed that some back channel deal has been done.
A release issued by the Lieutenant Governpr’s (LG) office said the hospital licence was not before the LG but before the Court of Financial Commissioner. It also clarified that no Max officials met the LG or any officer of the Raj Niwas.
