Such is the outrage against the movie that Haryana BJP leader Suraj Pal Amu announced a cash prize of Rs 10 crore for people who would volunteer to behead the cast members associated with the movie. Amu also supported the Meerut Kshatriya Samaj, whose members announced a bounty of Rs 5 crore on the heads of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone, and said he would torch every theatre in India if the movie gets released.
Amid all this controversy, that is sure to push the release date of Padmavati further, veteran actor Kabir Bedi, 70, who had last year tied the knot with his long-time partner, Parveen Dusanj, 41, took to Twitter to extend his support to the crew members.

She also said that Bedi won’t be able to understand a woman’s honour.
