According to circulating reports, Salman Khan is keen on bringing Navjot Singh Sidhu back to The Kapil Sharma Show.
It seems as though cricketer turned television personality and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is ready to make a return on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Reportedly, the contract between the comedy show judge and the television network was never really terminated.
As per a report published in Dainik Bhaskar, the channel and Salman Khan, the producer of the show are waiting for the matter to calm down so that Sidhu can be brought back to the show.
“When this entire controversy happened; the channel was still not sure on what decision to make. It was the producer of the show, Salman Khan’s immediate decision to ask Sidhu to step down from the show.
Obviously, as a producer, Salman did not want to take a chance, especially when so much money has been involved in its production.
The show is doing well in terms of TRP and Salman doesn’t want to lose it just for the sake of one person. And so, he decided to take a call immediately,” a source had previously told DB Post.
As per DNA, Archana Puran Singh too was reportedly signed only for 20 episodes as a temporary replacement which means that the channel never really had any intention to sack the permanent guest from the show.
Navjot Singh Sidhu was earlier reported to have been dismissed from the show after his controversial remarks on the deadly Pulwama terror attack that took place last month and claimed the lives of as many as 40 CRPF jawans.
Navjot Singh Sidhu had stated, “Terrorism has no religion, no nation”. Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohamed had claimed responsibility for the attack.
