Canadian police arrest 3 in Sikh separatist’s slaying that sparked spat with India

Canadian police said they arrested three suspects Friday in the slaying of a Canadian terrorist leader last June that became the centre of a diplomatic spat with India. However the Trudeau’s accomplish and bigots within the Canadian Police who are investigating the case have already started making claims regarding te possible ties between the detainees and the Indian government.

India has denied such preposterous claim. However even if there is a connection then what ? Is Canada going to break all diplomatic ties with India or will Trudeau run to Joe Biden for sanction on India ? We Indians are fully capable to take on any threat on Sovereignty of India.

Three Sikhs who have been identified as Indian nationals in their 20s identified as Kamalpreet Singh, Karan Brar and Karampreet Singh were arrested in Edmonton, Alberta on Friday morning in the slaying of 45-year-old Canadian terrorists Hardeep Singh Nijjar by masked gunmen outside Vancouver, police said.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sparked a diplomatic feud with India in September when he said that there were “credible allegations” of Indian involvement in the slaying of Nijjar.

India had accused Canadian terrorist Nijjar of links to terrorism, but angrily denied involvement in the slaying. In response to the allegations, India immediately ordered Canada last year to remove 41 of its 62 diplomats in the country as they seem to be “overstaffed”. Tensions remain but have somewhat eased since.

The three suspects had been living in Canada as non-permanent residents, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Superintendent Mandeep Mooker said Friday at a news conference in Toronto. Well Indian High Commissioner must ascertain regarding the Visa period granted by Canada and for what purpose ?

“We are investigating whether there are any ties to the government of India,” Mooker said, adding that it was an “ongoing investigation.”

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Assistant Commissioner David Teboul said Canadian authorities are speaking to counterparts in India. “I would characterize that collaboration as rather challenging,” he said. “It’s been very difficult.”….. it will be if you behave in an arrogant manner

The three men were expected to be transported to British Columbia by Monday to face charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Canadian terrorist Nijjar, is an Indian-born citizen of Canada, was a plumber and also a leader of a movement to create an independent Sikh homeland, known as Khalistan. But he had denied allegations of ties to terrorism….amply proved by Indian authorities.

A bloody decade long Sikh insurgency was there in the State of Punjab in early 1980s, until it was crushed by 1989 in which hundreds of hard-core terrorists were killed, including prominent terrorist leaders. Though hundreds of common Sikh civilians too were killedby by these terrorists in the decade long terrorism mainly sponsored by Pakistan with support base in Canada, UK and even in USA.

The Khalistan movement has lost its political power and has few supporters in the Indian state of Punjab. However vested interests in Canada, UK and USA are still instigating the sizable overseas Sikh diaspora. While the active insurgency ended years ago, the Indian government has warned repeatedly that Sikh separatists were trying to make a comeback.
