(Corona pandemic has given rise to uncertainity, insecurity, anxiouness, worriness and the fear of unknown.Sustained fear nurtured in the mind has the danger of punctuating emotive heart with callousness. It is the callousness which may inure heartlessness and avenge the beautiful human emotion of love and empathy into cold, harsh and hardened attitude. Through this poem author has tried to bring out the fruitlessness and the emptiness of an unprofitable enterprise of dealing in worries)
To worry
Does no good at all
It puts cross lines
On your face
And dissipates
Your charm
A beautiful face
Looks brazen
Gloomy and miserable
And brings a lot of harm
Whatever is to be, will be
Worry cannot change
It serves to dim
Your joy
Spoil your charm
Enscon your heart
In emptiness and hollowness
Of conundrum of worries
It is lack of confidence
In self
That causes worry’s fright
A lack of faith
In Gods’ design
Your happiness will blight
Unnerved and unshaken
Not to sacrifice your calm
Always smile and be alive
Cast aside gloomy thoughts
Bid your dark fears flee
Surrender callousness
Believe in your heart
Empathize with sufferers
Become a victor
Live in the light of faith and love
Joyful and worry free
