Denial of Actual ONE RANK ONE PENSION to Soldiers

It has been revealed through RTI that Rs 22.93 Cr is being spent every year on the monthly pension of 262 former MLAs of Haryana. In the last 5 years, the monthly pension of former MLAs has been increased by more than 200%.
Five years ago, their minimum monthly pension was Rs 20,250/- pm now this minimum pension has been increased to Rs.51,750/- p.m. A total of 161 former MLAs are being given a monthly pension of Rs 51,750 p.m. while 39 former MLAs are getting pension of Rs.90,543/- p.m.
On the other hand, former Haryana CM, OP Chautala, while he was in jail, was given a pension of Rs.2.22 lakh every month as a former MLA. Jailed Ajay Chautala was getting Rs.51,750/- as pension. Jasma Devi, widow of former CM Bhajan Lal, is getting double pension.
Being a former MLA herself, Jasma Devi is getting Rs 51,750 per month and being the widow of a former CM, Rs 99,619 per month as family pension.
Savitri Jindal, the Chairman of Jindal Group, who is included in the list of the world’s richest industrialists, is getting a pension of Rs 90,563/- per month while she is also the owner of 642 billion rupees ($8.8 billion) property. Captain Ajay Singh Yadav, former MLA of Rewari, is taking maximum monthly pension of Rs 2.38 lakh. Pension holders include former MLA Chandravati 2,22,525/-.

A total of 262 former MLAs of Haryana are this way being given pension. Under the family pension scheme, a total of Rs 3.15 Cr is being paid annually to the wives of 129 former MLAs.
This family pension has been increased by 200% in 5 yrs. Former CM Bhajan Lal’s widow, Jasma Devi, 99,619/-, Former CM Bhoopendra Hooda’s mother Hardevi, widow of Ranveer Huda 23288/-, Former Speaker Kuldip Sharma’s mother Sharda Rani widow of P Chiranji Lal 34931/-, Prabhat Shobha Pandit widow of Prabhat Sher Singh 51750/-, Former CM Bansi Lal’s Daughter in law Kiran Chaudhary, widow of Surendra Singh is taking 12937/- p.m pension. Five yrs ago the monthly family pension of widows of MLAs was 6750/- pm. It has now been increased to a minimum of 12937/-.
The above is case in point for one state only. The rest of India awaits such RTIs. A common man is being asked to even forego the LPG subsidy but here are our Netas who keep all the amenities, hefty salaries & pensions for themselves.
A Soldier toils his entire life on the Borders and in the end is forced to litigate to SC for getting his rightful dues eg actual OROP, NFU, MSP, Status Equivalence & above all, JUSTICE.
