Eric Garcetti probably wants to get deported from New Delhi

US envoy Eric Garcetti probably wishes to get deported from New Delhi, that’s why he has uttered lots of nonsense several times in the past month.

This time on Thursday the Envoy who should just be HIS MASTERS VOICE here for conveying to the External Affairs Ministry, messages from Biden, if any, has started sermonizing from the Mount.

This individual had no business to make any comments on India’s “strategic autonomy”. Comments if any made by his bosses ….Biden and Blinken, of course can be conveyed to the concerned Joint Secretary in the External Affairs Ministry.

Garcetti had the temerity to tell India that “ in times of conflict, there is no such thing as strategic autonomy”. As if India is like UK or Canada or Pakistan, to run at the heels of USA.

On top of that, after sermonizing he pitched for forging a stronger partnership between New Delhi and Washington. He thinks we Indians have forgotten the ENTERPRISE led Flotilla which had entered the Bay of Bengal in 1971.

For the USA “no war is distant anymore” and It wants that India must not just stand for peace, but also take concrete actions to make sure those who don’t play by peaceful rules, their war machines “cannot continue unabated”.

Well firstly we Indians don’t consider the Ukraine Conflict as OUR problem. Secondly it is USA, Western Europe and NATO who are not playing by the rules. Thirdly Russia has been a strong reliable friend and always helped us out again the shenanigans of UK and some Western countries and their backing to Pakistan and Khalistan, against Indian interests.

Garcetti’s remarks follows the Biden administration on Tuesday saying that India will continue to be a strategic partner for the US despite concerns over its ties with Russia. USA must be clear on the fact that India makes its own decision and will have bilateral relations with many without prejudice to any third party.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Russia for two days for the 22nd India-Russia annual summit that has been watched closely by the West who are also backing Ukraine to the hilt in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine.

“I know that India… and I respect that India likes its strategic autonomy. But in times of conflict, there is no such thing as strategic autonomy. We will, in crisis moments, need to know each other. I don’t care what title we put to it, but we will need to know that we are trusted friends, brothers and sisters, colleagues that in times of need… be acting together,” was the jarring sermon given by Garcetti.

The envoy in his address indirectly tried to convey his hidden anger against India by describing India-US ties as deep, ancient and increasingly broad, but urged to not take this relationship for granted.

Underling whole areas of cooperation, including in defence, the joint military exercises and India’s naval prowess in the western Indian Ocean in combating piracy and other challenges, he envisioned the US and India together as an “unstoppable force for good in the world”.

He described the US-India defence partnership as one which stands “among the most consequential” in the world….well Garcetti ji, our partnership with Soviet Union / Russia has been ten times more consequential and helped the World by making it a Multipolar one.

“In the past three years, we have witnessed countries which have ignored sovereign borders. I dont’ have to remind how important borders are, it’s a central principle to peace in our world,” he added…..look who is saying this !!! After merrily invading Iraq, Afghanistan and so many other countries.
