G7 still not chastened, threatens Russia with new sanctions

The G7 members “called for Russia to reciprocate by agreeing to a ceasefire on equal terms and implementing it fully”

It seems Countries of the Group of Seven (G7) have still not learnt their lessons.

In Spite of all their failed sanctions against Russia, they are once again threatening Russia with new sanctions.

With all military support received from G7 till date Zelensky has not been able to achieve anything to Moscow, except getting Ukraine quite devastated.

Now te G7 is having te gumption of threatening additional support of Kiev if Moscow does not agree to the ceasefire proposal made by the United States, G7 foreign ministers said in their statement.

“We discussed imposing further costs on Russia in case such a ceasefire is not agreed, including through further sanctions, caps on oil prices, as well as additional support for Ukraine, and other means,” the ministers said.

The G7 members “called for Russia to reciprocate by agreeing to a ceasefire on equal terms and implementing it fully.”

The foreign ministers also “underlined the importance of confidence-building measures under a ceasefire, including the release of prisoners of war and detainees – both military and civilian.

“Rest of the World is simply laughing at the G7 countries. The G7 must realize that they no more control the World.
