Global Media Congress to kick off in UAE

The media congress will take place under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister And Minister Of Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Global Media Congress 2022 will kick off in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday for participation in the event, scheduled to run until November 17.

The media congress will take place under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister And Minister Of Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The forum is organized by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The congress will involve a conference and an international exhibition of products and services aimed at facilitating the professional development and creation of quality content in the media sector.

Participants in the conference will discuss issues related to the global media industry, including digital communications, the influence of artificial intelligence on modern media, the integration of advanced technology and innovations into the media sector and ways to combat fake news among other things.

Event’s importance.

According to WAM Director General Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, organizations, information agencies, companies and individuals will be able to discuss the prospects for cooperation in the media sector and take advantage of advanced technologies.

Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, in turn, pointed out that the congress would be the perfect platform for making agreements on partnership and cooperation and studying the possibilities for training and increasing revenues. The event will bring together over 150 exhibiting companies from various countries, as well as more than 10,000 visitors and delegates.

Media hoses will present their best information products and services at the congress. Visitors to various stands will be able to get comprehensive information about the agency’s new Arabic news feed, which launched in November, as well as to learn about the visual database, the websites, the press center and conference management.
