Homage to the pioneer of the submarine arm of India : Commodore K S Subramanian
⚓⚓With profound grief & heavy heart, regret to inform the sad demise of Senior Naval Veteran, Cmde KS Subramanian, VSM (00106-R)(Retd)(S/M)(NFMC-1048 TY) 94 yrs today morning 04 Jun 2023 at Grand World Elder Care, Ramnagar Coimbatore, where he’d been residing, leaving many to mourn his transit to higher realms.
The Submarine Veteran had a glorious career in the Indian Navy pioneering the Submarine Arm :: Commissioning CO of INS Kalvari and INS Virbahu…His wife had predeased him a few years ago. It’s heartening that a Veteran Submarine colleague Cmde PS Theyunni (mob- 98431 11900) was by his side in the morning during the Legend’s final moments. NF Coimbatore Chapter is in the process of informing his NOK.
On behalf of President and all the members of NFMC we offer our deepest sympathy and heart felt condolences to Sons Shanker(Aus), Krishnan(UK) & Daughter Seeta(USA) and their grieving family members. We pray that they face the irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.
