Railway Releases CEN RRC 01/2019 for RRC Group D 2019; 103769 Vacancies Announced!

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has released CEN RRC 01/2019 for RRC Group D Recruitment 2019. The notice has been released online, on the official website of RRCs. In all, the recruitment is open for 103769 vacancies.

Out of these, 42355 vacancies are UR, 15559 for SC, 7984 for ST, 27378 for OBC, and 10381 EWS. The number of vacancies for EX-SM is 20734, for CCAA is 20734, for PwDBD it is 4326, and for Back-PwDBD the number of posts are 112.

Only eligible candidates can apply for RRC Group D 2019. The criteria of eligibility are that the candidate should be a citizen of India and should be between 18 to 33 years old, as on July 01, 2019.

Other than this, the required education qualification is that the candidate should have passed class 10th or ITI.

The ITI should have been passed from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Eligible candidates can apply for RRC Group D 2019 from March 12, 2019. The application form will release at 5:00 pm. In order to apply for the RRC Group D Recruitment, the candidates need to visit the official website of any RRB. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be releasing the application form on behalf of RRCs.

The candidates will have to first register by entering details such as name, aadhaar card number, e-mail id, phone number, etc. Once done, the candidates will have to upload images and submit the application fee.

The amount of application fee for RRC Group D 2019 is Rs. 500. However, candidates belonging to PwBD / Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class need to pay Rs. 250.

The amount can be submitted online, via net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI. Other than this, the fee can also be paid via SBI Challan and post office challan.

Candidates need to make sure that the post office should be computerized. The amount of fee will be refunded once the candidates appear for the computer based test.

The selection process for RRC Group D 2019 is the same as that for RRB Group D 2018. The candidates need to appear for CBT first.

Those who qualify for CBT will be called for PET and then Document Verification round. RRC Group D CBT will be held in September – October 2019.

The CBT will be 90 minutes examination, in which the candidates will have to solve 100 questions of multiple choice type.

25 questions in the exam will be asked from general science, 25 from mathematics, 30 from general intelligence and reasoning, and 20 from general awareness and current affairs.

Candidates who will aks from the scribe and are under PwDBD will get 120 minutes to solve the examination. There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks in the exam.
