On Monday, the Council of the European Union introduced new sanctions against Iran over alleged violations of human rights in that country, blacklisting another 32 private individuals and two legal entities.
On February 15, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that on February 24, the EU intended to introduce a separate set of sanctions against Iran within the framework of the 10th package of anti-Russian restrictive measures. It will include the individuals and legal entities which, according to the EU, are involved in Iranian military deliveries to Russia.
