Joint Anti-Terror Operation By J&K Police, Security Forces and Army Underway in zabarwan Forests

Recently encounters have taken place in Sopore and Kishtwar, where Army along with security forces and J&K Police have been actively engaging with terrorist groups.

Combing of Zabarwan forests by joint Army and Security – Police Forces has now been intensified as part of anti-terror operations across Jammu and Kashmir.

Heavy Gunfire has been reported in the Zabarwan forest area of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, as a joint anti-terror operation involving Army, J&K police and security forces is currently underway.

This operation follows reports of terrorists being encircled by Army personnel in the region.

The encounter began early on November 10, 2024, when terrorists opened fire upon being located during a search operation.

The encounter location is in the Zabarwan forest area, Srinagar. A Joint operation by J&K Police, security forces and Army was launched aimed at neutralizing terrorists.

Ongoing gunfight with heightened security measures in place at the encounter site.
