KAMALA HARRIS should worry more about her USA, rather than trying To poke her nose in Kashmir

On Wednesday, when US Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris to be his running mate, it brought about a lot of cheer amongst the Indian-American community, as people felt that ‘one of them’ had a chance of becoming the first woman vice president in United States history.
This may be ok if only she can refrain from poking her nose into India’s internal affairs. Otherwise things will be fully reciprocated by India too.

We in India are not impressed at all if Harris is of mixed race, with her roots hailing from India on her mother’s side, and Jamaica on her father’s. Though Several Indian leaders of Tukde Tukde gang including Shashi Tharoor, lawyers such as Prashant Bhushan, and celebrities shared tweets on the historic moment in the history of the United States of America. There is nothing historic if her behavior is anti Indian.

And while, Harris has roots that are based in Chennai (her grandfather participated in India’s freedom movement and was even a senior diplomat after India attained independence), she has been critical on more than one occasion of the policies of her mother’s motherland. So it should be very clear to her that she will not be welcomed in India at all, even if she becomes the President.

When the NDA government repealed Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir last year, Harris was one of the harshest critics. What did she achieve out of it except souring Indo US relationship.

In a report in Pakistan daily Dawn, Harris is reported to have said: “We have to remind the Kashmiri people that they are not alone in the world. We are keeping track on the situation. There is a need to intervene if the situation demands.” Well last time Nixon had tried to intervene by sending USS Enterprise leading a flotilla, it was unable to save East Pakistan and 93000 Pakistani soldiers from becoming Prisoner of War.

So after becoming the Vice President, as per her dreams, will she come riding on a broom or the latest of the USS Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier to gift Kashmir to Pakistan? Indians will be waiting, not to worry.

Harris has continued her criticism of the Government of India, and earlier even lashed out at External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for not meeting her colleague Pramila Jayapal, who has also been a staunch supporter of the land of terrorism …Pakistan.

Harris said she stands with Jayapal. “I’m glad her colleagues in the House did too,” she said responding to a news report in The Washington Post which said that Jaishankar refused to attend a meeting of House Foreign Affairs Committee, because Jayapal was also scheduled to be present in that meeting along with other lawmakers.

Well Harris, will have to keep standing OUTSIDE ONLY OF India, incase she likes to stand with the likes of Jayapal. The blind supporter of Terroristan, Jayapal, may have been the first Indian American women to be elected to the House of Representatives, but she had introduced a resolution in the House on Kashmir. By this she has not only acted against India but also against the national interest of USA.

In case Harris and Jayapal think that Indians are worried about the USA House of Representatives then they are highly mistaken. The Indian Parliament too can pass many such resolutions against USA if that is the game to be played.

Even Senator Elizabeth Warren came out in support of Jayapal. “The US and India have an important partnership – but our partnership can only succeed if it is rooted in honest dialogue and shared respect for religious pluralism, democracy, and human rights,” she had tweeted.
Our advice to Elizabeth is that she should first ask her Senators to ensure the Human Rights of the Blacks in USA and of those detained in that inhuman torture chambers of Guantanamo Bay and then only try and preach to the outside World.

Harris and other India-origin Democrats, barring Raja Krishnamoorthy, had boycotted the Howdy Modi event in Texas. Though we give a damn for their boycott, it has still been noted for the future, when tge feeling can be reciprocated with accumulated interest.

Notably, even if Biden does win the November Presidential election, he will require the support and help of India much more than what will be required by India from the USA. So Shri Bidden Ji is advised to rein in his deputy or be ready to suffer the consequences.
