Mahesh Babu rejected Nani accepted Nani and Mahesh Babu
It is known news that currently Natural Star Nani is working with Vikram Kumar for a movie which has been titled as Gang Leader.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the script of Gang Leader was penned for Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu, not for Nani. It means Nani has accepted the script, which was rejected by Nani.
The sources say that the producer Ashwini Dutt planned a film with Superstar Mahesh Babu and the script of the film was penned by Vikram Kumar.
But, the project didn’t take off as Mahesh Babu was not totally convinced with the script. When Vikram Kumar narrated the same script to Nani, he gave his nod.
Though Vikram Kumar has made few change to the same script he narrated to Mahesh Babu and impressed Nani, who is popular for his natural performance.
Vikram Kumar’s directorial venture Gang Leader follows the story of an all-women gang led by Nani’ character.
RX 100 fame Kartikeya is on the board to play the role of villain. Sathyaraj, Brahmaji and Ronit Kamra will be seen in supporting role in Nani starrer.
The film has the music by Anirudh Ravichander and it is set to release in August this year.
Nani was last seen in sport based drama Jersey, which is just average at the box office. The film marks Shraddha Srinath’ debut in Tollywood.
On the other-side, currently Mahesh Babu is enjoying holidays in abroad. After coming back to Hyderabad, Mahesh Babu will start the promotional activities of his upcoming movie Maharshi, which is gearing up for grand release on 9th May.
After the release of Maharshi, Mahesh Babu will start the shoot of his next project, which will be directed by Anil Ravipudi in which Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead whereas Bandla Ganesh and Vijayashanti will play crucial roles.
