Maduro are nominated as Ruling Party candidate for Venezuelan president

Venezuela’s ruling United Socialist Party has nominated incumbent President Nicolas Maduro as a presidential candidate in the election that will be held on July 28, 2024.
Venezolana de Television provided a live coverage of the party forum, which was held at Poliedro de Caracas, a 20,000-seat sports and concert hall.
Maduro’s candidature was previously supported by more than four million people during meetings of grassroots party organizations, local councils, and public organizations.
Maduro is running for his third office term. Venezuela’s constitution sets no limits on the number of office terms for the president and other elected officials.
