Italian luxury fashion brand Prada and U.S. startup Axiom Space Inc. unveiled Wednesday the design of a spacesuit they are developing in collaboration, which will be used for NASA’s Artemis Moon exploration program that includes Japan.

The suit covers the entire body in white material for protection against high temperatures and fine sand, with red lines adding a striking design element.

Two Japanese astronauts are expected to stand on the Moon wearing the spacesuit.

The Artemis program led by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration aims to send astronauts to the lunar surface in 2026, marking the first time in over half a century since the Apollo missions.
