Kapil Sharma gets honoured by World book of Records London for being one of the most viewed stand-up comedians
Ace comedian Kapil Sharma has added another feather to his cap. The host-turned-actor, whose comeback comedy series, The Kapil Sharma Show is constantly in the top 5 list of most watched TV shows, has now been honoured by World book of Records London for being one of the most viewed stand-up comedians.
A fan page of the popular comedian, shared a certificate of the honour on Instagram. This is not the first time that Kapil has been recognised for his talent.
He has won titles like Indian of the year and best actor in the past. In the year 2017, he was rated as the highest earning TV star according to Forbes India.
Kapil has been going great after his marriage. His wife Ginni Chatrath seems to have proved lucky for him as not only his show, even he is getting awarded.
Kapil has been known for his efforts in promoting animal rights.
In fact, cast of his TV show, Comedy Nights with Kapil had appeared in a PETA campaign to promote adoption of homeless cats and dogs.
TKSS 2 marked the return of Kapil to the small screen after a gap of more than a year. Kapil had to shutdown the show because of his deteriorating health which led to cancellations of several shoots of his comedy show.
All this happened after his ugly fight with co-star Sunil Grover and the debacle of home production film Firangi. However, the Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon actor has managed to bounce back.
