Putin discusses Ukraine issue with French president, German chancellor
The head of state held numerous phone calls with other countries’ leaders and heads of international organizations in the past days
Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have held a telephone conversation, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“They continued their discussion of the Ukraine issue,” he said.
Putin earlier had held phone calls Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with other countries’ leaders and heads of international organizations in the past days, discussing the situation in Ukraine. In particular, he held conversations with the leaders of Egypt, Israel, and Senegal, as well as with the president of the European Council.
Every one wishes for early ceasefire and return of peace. However unlike USA and some NATO countries, other World leaders are not acting like Self Styled Guardians of Ukraine. These countries are also not endorsing any of the American or European sanctions on Russia.
