Russians weapon systems prevail upon US, European Weapons Supplied to Ukraine
Both during 1965 and 1971 Indo Pak war, Indian Armed Forces even with their older weapon systems had prevailed upon the then latest Western wares supplied by USA and NATO. The F86 Sabres and Patton tanks could not match Indian licensed manufactured Gnat fighters and Vijayant tanks.
The downing of F16 by an Indian MiG 21 in 2019 just proved the point. We are not even going into the fact that how and why all the BVR missiles fired by F16s to take down the SU 30 MKIs turned duds.
Now the West is once again trying to test its weapon systems by supplying them en masse to Ukraine. However Russia has successfully struck a military airfield near Ukraine’s southwestern city of Odesa with missiles, destroying drones, missiles and ammunition supplied to Ukraine by the United States and its European allies.
Russian missiles and artillery also struck various military targets across Ukraine, including command centres, arsenals, and an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.
“High-precision Onyx missiles struck a logistics centre at a military airfield in the Odesa region through which foreign weapons were being delivered,” the defence ministry said.
“Hangars containing unmanned Bayraktar TB2 drones, as well as missiles and ammunition from the U.S. and European countries, were destroyed,” it said.

The governor of Odesa, Maksym Marchenko, said a rocket strike had hit the Black Sea port city on Monday evening, causing deaths and injuries.
