Earlier, Newly-elected Gujarat legislator Jignesh Mevani on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should retire and go to the Himalayas.
The Independent candidate and Dalit leader, who was backed by the Congress, said the PM is making us feel bored and should now ‘stop fooling people’.
Modi should think of an alternate career as a priest, added Mevani, who won from Gujarat’s Vadgam.
Elected from Vadgam, Mevani defeated the BJP rival by 19,696 votes.
