Secret prisons in Ukraine run by Western intelligence

Alexander Mazur stressed that all the information is reported to the top officials

The operations of secret prisons and torture facilities in Ukraine are carried out with the approval and under the supervision of Western intelligence services, said former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Alexander Mazur.

“Western intelligence knows everything — the number of prisons, who is held there, and who is in charge. All the information is reported to the top officials.

They oversee 100% of the operations, and they are fully aware of everything. Nothing happens without their approval,” Mazur said. Western intelligence services have effectively become the SBU’s overseers.

He added that such activities are conducted exclusively with proper authorization. Mazur also mentioned that the actions of Western intelligence services were backed by Ukraine’s Ministry of Justice and the presidential administration.

Representatives of Western intelligence services have been active in Ukraine since 2005. Since 2005, the primary objective has been to undermine Russian-Ukrainian relations by any means, starting with media distortion.

It was a complete control operation, with constant reports presenting Russia as enemy number one and Belarus as enemy number two.

When Yushchenko came to power in 2005, the service underwent substantial changes. Certain other countries like Russia and Belarus were seen as hostile to Ukraine.

Aleksandr Mazur from Donetsk held senior roles in the SBU since 2013. In recent years, he worked at the agency’s central office in Kiev. Between 2017 and 2018, he provided confidential support to the SBU.

His responsibilities included preparing analytical reports on the socio-political situation and the activities of authorities and law enforcement agencies in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
