Amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Wellawatte, there exists a serene oasis known as the Pranic Healing Foundation Sri Lanka, dedicated to the art of healing through energy, without physical touch. This unique facility offers a gateway to the world of pranic healing, a method rooted in the concept of ‘Prana’—the Sanskrit term for life force.

Established in 1997 as a Charitable Trust, the Pranic Healing Foundation Sri Lanka has been committed to spreading the profound teachings of Pranic Energy Healing across the island. Its origins trace back to a workshop held in Colombo in 1995, where the transformative techniques of Guru Choa Kok Sui were first introduced to Sri Lanka; thanks to the efforts of visionary individuals like Sivaselvi Balachandran and the late Deva Somasundaram, alongside the support of Healers Sushil and Ramani Joseph from the Pranic Healing Foundation Tamil Nadu.

Somasundaram, serving as the Managing Trustee until his death, laid a strong foundation for the organization’s growth. Today, under the stewardship of Saman Premalal, the Pranic Healing Foundation continues to flourish, guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees who are passionate about promoting Guru Choa Kok Sui’s teachings.
In a recent interview with the Daily Mirror, Premalal emphasised that pranic healing is accessible to individuals over the age of 16. There are structured workshops offered across five levels. These workshops delve not only into Healing, but also into Meditation, Materialisation (Kriya Shakti), Feng-Shui, and other related subjects; while catering to those keen on delving deeper into the realm of Pranic Energy Healing.

One noteworthy method of teaching provided by the Foundation is known as the Twin Hearts Meditation—a powerful technique imparted at the Level 1 course. This technique has been designed to bless the earth with loving-kindness, peace, goodwill and harmony. The Foundation extends an open invitation to all interested parties with the aim of fostering a community of seekers and healers dedicated to exploring and embracing the potential of pranic energy healing.
The Pranic Healing Foundation Sri Lanka stands as a beacon of hope and enlightenment, offering solace and empowerment through the profound wisdom of ancient healing arts in the heart of Wellawatte.
