The Chief Engineer of Bhatinda Zone, MES Needs To Be Sacked
The Chief Engineer, Military Engineering Services has issued instructions to his subordinate Staff against the Additional Chief Engineer who is an Army Officer of Colonel rank.
In case of any breach of discipline by the Colonel, Dube should have immediately reported the matter to the Command Chief Engineer on telephone. Dube’s action should not go un actioned. Required action must be initiated at Command level without delay.
The conduct of Chief Engineer Bhatinda Zone of the MES is in clear violation of Sec 3(1)(iii) of CCS conduct Rules. It is directly challenging the Uniformed Personnel & Commission granted by the President and also amounts to activity prejudicial to the interest of Army entrusted with the security of State.
The NFU has become a joke in spite of clear instructions on the subject with respect to seniority and parity with other services. The three Chiefs and the Chief of Defence Staff need to deal with the whole NFU matter without delay.
