The Deep Resonance Of American Trumping May Give Aftershocks To USA Itself.

Trump of USA chose a good time to trumpet his “ sanction “ on the import of Iranion oil by India and also by China and Japan. India is busy in conducting the biggest show of democracy on the Planet. With every one, neck deep in Electioneering, no one has time to listen to such trumpets from distant lands. The giant wheels of Government of India are nowadays moving at the famed elephantine pace.

So naturally India’s Oil Minister just found time enough to tweet that he will study the details. This was most natural reaction because otherwise the Pappuposition would pounce upon any other utterings whether standing up against US sanctions or agreeing with it.

However even his sterile tweet, has attracted attention and from an obscure magazine EURASIA FUTURE.One Mr Andrew Korybkw has written that the “Indian Illusion has been shattered. The Indian minister says that his country will replace US-sanctioned Iranian oil imports with those from major oil-producing countries such as the Islamic Republic’s hated GCC foes of Saudi Arabia and the UAE that America said will step up their exports in order to stabilize global prices after Washington announced that it won’t renew its anti-Iranian oil sanction waivers. “

He then has gleefully compared this tweet with India’s official announce last year. He says that “ New Delhi made a dramatic Bollywood-like show over the past year out of defying US sanctions, with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj announcing last May that India will only obey UNSC sanctions and not those unilaterally imposed by the US in contravention of international law.”

India had clearly stated back in October last year that India will continue buying Iranian oil in spite of the US sanctions. As a face saving device, the Americans then came up with a waiver, which no one had asked for. India will use rupees instead of dollars when trading with Iran, a bold move as a response to US unilateral action.

As seen by the Americans earlier in 1998, when they had foolishly sanctioned India for the nuclear blast, India just remained unfazed.

Finally the Americans themselves had to bend and come to India. Now the Americans have acted at an opportune time, when there will be least planned reaction from India.

However if due to Electioneering, no order is issued to “ stop “ then import from Iran will continue and this will itself be a tight slap on the Americans. Though Americans must be banking on the fact that a Care Taker Govt will just panic and take the easiest route to placate the mighty Americans.

This writer also seems to be too much pro Pakistan, because he talks about major implications for Russian-Indian relations because the US is considering sanctioning India for its planned purchase of the S-400s, a threat that still hangs over New Delhi’s head like a Damocles’ sword over half a year since the original agreement was signed during President Putin’s visit to the country.

He thinks that India will probably pull out of the S-400 deal if the US does indeed impose CAATSA sanctions against it over this purchase, which Washington might seriously pursue in order to deal a deathblow to Russian-Indian relations just like it recently did to Iranian-Indian ones through the latest oil sanctions.

Well, the man and his backers have not understood what India is. It is no banana republic which bows to whims and fancies of other countries. US laws are not permitted to even touch the Indian shores. India will never accept any dictates and has never asked for any CAATSA waiver. It will buy whatever it requires, from any one it feels like, of course at the best price and it has to be quality goods.

Mr Korybkw also speculates that US sanctions on India for S400 purchase, would be as part of a power play to “poach” this lucrative arms market from Russia and replace the country’s wares with Western ones from its own military-industrial complex and that of its French and “Israeli” partners’ too. This a dream which Americans can keep dreaming. Shooting down of vaunted F16 by vintage Mig 21 has shattered the American dream forever. India has been buying from Russia, France, Israel, Sweden, Italy and even UK and USA, as per its requirements but slowly indigenization is taking place and crossed the critical 60% mark overall in even critical items.

He has also already started castigating India for betraying Russia. He thinks or probably wishes that the Russians might then seriously consider clinching a deal with Pakistan to sell it the upwards of $9 billion of equipment that the Deputy Director of the influential Moscow-based Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST) think tank estimated is in the cards in his organization’s recently released book.

In case this happens, India will welcome it with open arms because then Pakistan will become totally bankrupt and collapse as a nation, though even the Russians will get burned quite badly, economically.

He is calling India an aggressive rogue state instead of a peaceful one dutifully abiding by international law, because of India calling the bluff has Balakoted, Pakistan nice and proper.

Such name calling makes no difference, if Americans have the right to hit at their enemies in Iraq, in Afghanistan, in Syria or even in Pakistan, then so has India. In case some one does not like, then either they try and confront India or just lump it.

To what phylum, Mr Andrew belongs is obvious from his concluding thoughts, when he writes “India’s betrayal of Iran in response to impending American sanctions and its energy pivot towards the Islamic Republic’s hated GCC foes suggests that it might soon betray Russia in response to the possible imposition of CAATSA sanctions over the S-400s and militarily pivot towards the Eurasian Great Power’s Western competitors instead. “

The cat is out of the bag when he babbles “ the Indophile “deep state” faction in both Iran and Russia misled their leaderships because they were unprofessionally naive and truly believed the assurances made by their Indian counterparts.

It’s now becoming obvious that New Delhi was deceiving both of them all along by disguising its clandestine unipolar actions with public multipolar rhetoric.”
