The pitiable psyche and thinking of a few ex foreign service officers

A retired Foreign Service officer feels that in the case related to the alleged killing plot of American terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on American soil itself, India is now acting like an Ostrich….that is, on sensing danger and being afraid, has flopped to the ground and is remaining still. However as per the ex IFS officer, this is not going to help, as Eagles ( USA )are ferocious predators.

He forgets that unlike the doves of earlier times, the American eagles are now dealing with Indian Garuds, which have both the capability and the ability to tear an eagle to pieces, in case required.

A few people in India seem to be either real admirers of the highly exaggerated Institution of Public Prosecutor in the USA or really terrified of it. Well whatever law they may be having, now they have to realize that it cannot be made applicable to other countries and certainly not to India. Though this fact they must have realized in the famous Devyani Khobradage case itself which concerned an Indian diplomat.

Govt of India has outright denied any involvement in the attempted killing of proclaimed terrorist Pannun. However Govt of USA should be made fully aware that India retains the right and also has the will to strike at any ongoing terror activity against India, in any corner of the World, especially if that particular country fails to take corrective action.

Therefore no one should exaggerate or underestimate the sensational case of the aborted assassination attempt on American terrorist leader and US citizen, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in New York and its ramifications. At the best,it should be investigated as a case of inter gang warfare, a very common thing in gun wielding mafia / terrorists dominated countries.

So typically, the Pannun case will certainly remain a mere blip in surging India-US ties, because anything else will surely upset the Cart, to the detriment of USA in the present day multi polar world. So even when Biden may be terrified of US Courts because Hunter Biden, the US president’s son, could face up to 17 years in prison if convicted of three felony and six misdemeanour charges that were included in an indictment last Friday, it does not “ terrify “ the Indian system at all.

A formal indictment by a Public Prosecutor in the US judicial system alleging criminal conspiracy by a foreign government on American soil is a bloody serious affair. However if they try out this with Indian officials then same will be reciprocated with all the “ bells and the whistles “. Both the White House and the USA State Department must be fully aware of this fact by now.

India has also quietly noted how Biden has acted like that despicable Nixon by asking his White House to Coordinate with Canada while that turd type accusation was made against India. Mr Trudeau had the gall of accusing Govt of India of its involvement in the killing of a Canadian terrorist in Vancouver last June. Now Trudeau is not sure of the direction of magnetic North also.

The funny thing is that ex IFS officer, in spite of all the “ demonstrations” given out by this new India, goes on to say that “ there will be hell to pay once the court hearing begins, and if Nikhil Gupta, the 52-year-old suspect accepts a plea bargain. The US is seeking his extradition from Prague.”.

Well Kar Sevaks of USA Court should be aware that even the Indian Courts have started looking into the “ plotting “ of USA administration and all will certainly have to “ pay “ especially Prague,if they carry out the extradition.

The views of such categories of Foreign Service officers on Operation Pawan is not even worth discussing. Thank God that we had JN Dixit at that time in Colombo.
