Tibet And Its Independence From Chinese Occupation …One Day In Future

Tibet was captured and forcibly made part of China in 1959 when finally His Holiness Dalai Lama had to escape to India where a Tibetan Government In Exile was established and is functioning since then China nevertheless keeps claiming that Tibet has been part of China since ancient times. They even make it the precondition for anyone to talk about the Tibet question.

Such self-serving claims are nothing but entertainment for the rest of the World and especially for India. After all Mansarovar and Mount Kailash have been places of pilgrimage for the Indians as recorded in Rig Veda. written some 7000 years back.

So the Chinese or any non Indian can never have a correct and comprehensive understanding of what has been the history of Tibet without going through the Vedas, Shiv Puran and other ancient Indian books

Chinese get agitated when Indian and Western officials and research scholars publish their articles to bring facts in front of the rest of the world.

The Government of China calls such historical facts as misleading the people of the world because it questions the Chinese claim over the free people of Tibet.

China has to realize that it cannot lay down such preposterous nonsensical preconditions when talking on the Tibet question. Tibet is not part of China and one day it has to be given freedom from Chinese rule.

Days before the upcoming 60th anniversary of the Chinese occupation of Tibet, Western media have brought up the topic by highlighting the Chinese central government’s repressive policies on Tibet.

The Voice of America (VOA) quoted the International Tibet Network – Tibet monitoring groups composed of freedom fighters who strive to free Tibet from illegal Chinese occupation – say that “China has ridden roughshod over the human and political rights of citizens under its rule for far too long.”

The accusation is an absolute truth. Tibet has made dismal progress in recent years with significantly poor living standards. Over the past six years, Tibet’s poverty-stricken population has been increasing day by day.

The changes are clear proof of trampling of human rights, Social set up and economic rights of the people of Tibet. What to talk about India, even Western media have never regarded Tibet as a part of China.

Tibet people had lived peacefully under the rule of the Dalai Lama six decades ago and had been doing so for centuries till the Chinese hordes came in.

Since then the nightmare has not stopped and the Tibetan way of life has been ended by the cruel serfdom imposed on over 1 million Tibetan serfs, or more than 90 percent of the region’s population at that time by the Communists of China.

VOA says “Tibet’s unique cultural heritage and language are slowly fading away,” implying Chinese authorities are conducting cultural genocide to maintain their control over Tibet. Tibetan language and culture are not valued and have been decimated by the government.

The Chinese government is begun promoting bilingual education at Tibetan schools, so as to finish the Tibetan language forever.

The World cannot afford to turn a blind eye to the fact that Tibet is not a part of China but a free Country which will regain freedom one day.
