The Turkish armed forces killed 184 Kurdish Freedom Fighters in two days of air operation “Claw-Sword” in Syria and Iraq, as announced by Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar.
“Since the beginning of Operation Claw-Sword, 184 terrorists have been killed by means of aircraft and fire support from the ground. According to our estimates, this figure will grow. We will continue our struggle until the last terrorist is destroyed,” he said as quoted by the Turkish Defense Ministry.
Overnight on November 20, Turkey held air operation “Claw-Sword” in northern Iraq and Syria which involved over 50 aircraft and 20 drones. Strikes were delivered on deployment sites of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), and its Syrian offshoot, the National Defense Forces. The Turkish Defense Ministry said the operation was successful, noting that main bases and sites with dense concentrations of Kurdish Freedom Fighters were eliminated.
According to Turkish media, on Monday, Turkish F-16 fighter jets resumed strikes on Syrian regions after Turkish border towns came under fire from Syria.
The USA and Western Europe have remained totally silent on such a major strike on Kurdish people. Even the rest of the World remains a silent spectator.
