Turkish Media Spews Venom Once Again Against India And Israel
“When France was distracted with a national election and a range of unresolved domestic issues in 1936, Nazi Germany seized it as an opportunity to violate the Treaty of Versailles by remilitarizing the Rhineland. This buffer zone had been established in the aftermath of World War I to prevent it from threatening its western neighbours.
History is replete with examples of expansionist states using distraction and diversion as a weapon or element of surprise – as illustrated by Russia’s invasion of Georgia in 2008 when the world’s attention was fixated on the Beijing Olympic Games. “….says the the Turkish Media.
So now the Turkish media is trying to compare India with Nazi Germany and giving examples of Europe which in no way relates to India. Why ? Just because Turkey’s President has ambitions to somehow obtain the nuclear bomb secrets from Pakistan. So it must praise and back Pakistan at all costs.
It’s no secret that world leaders often use foreign policy as a means to divert attention from political problems at home. So to divert attention from the internal crisis in Turkey and the brutality it is heaping upon the Kurdish people, Turkey is even accusing the United States for assassination of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, and says that it was likely carried out to distract from President Donald Trump’s impeachment hearing.
The words “never let a crisis go to waste” also ring loud and true for both Pakistan and Turkey, with each using the fog of the COVID-19 pandemic to expand their respective terror projects in Kashmir and occupied Kurdish territory and in defiance of international law.
No doubt, Turkey’s sudden haste to annex stolen Kurdish land is driven by a belief that the international community is too distracted by the COVID-19 pandemic to care or protest, alongside genuine fears his rival will defeat Trump in November, given he trails his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, by significant margins in all of the battleground states.
Across the other side of the world, Pakistan has taken its first steps towards replicating Turkish settler-colonial mode by filling up both Baluchistan and Gilgit Baltistan by its own people. In addition Pakistan is sending trained terrorists into Indian territory of Kashmir, where they have held the people to ransom by their terrorism and other organized crimes.
Both Pakistan and Turkey have the same motive that is to facilitate and encourage terrorism and make the Muslim majority fear the terrorists and the separatists and listen to their dictates. This will kill any chance of normalcy returning in future.
Pakistan recent aggression on LoOC has not come without violence, with three civilians killed, including a woman and her child, when the two armies traded fire along the Line of Control in early April. This aggression of Pakistan has been due to the fact that India has been hunting down all the terrorist dogs being sent by them. Then with the recent killing of Kashmir’s top terrorist commander – Riyaz Naikoo, the Paki deep state has gone into a tizzy.
Clearly, Pakistan is exploiting the Indian focus on the COVID-19 pandemic to advance its terror projects in Kashmir – and clearly, Turkey is doing same to advance its settler-colonial project in the Kurdish territories.
One of the great tragedies of the COVID-19 pandemic, beyond the immediate death and economic destruction, will be the actions of Pakistan in supporting terrorism against India and the brutality heaped by them on the enslaved people of Baluchistan.
Similar is the tragedy of Turkish government in heaping untold brutality on the Kurdish people including their women and children in resolving intractable conflicts and global human rights violations, given European, American and Asian nations will be focused on their survival, and not that of others in distant lands.
