UPSC Topper Ira Singhal Opens Up On Being Abused on Social Media

A couple of days after being abused by an unidentified person on social media, UPSC 2014 topper Ira Singhal opened up about the incident on Tuesday.

In an interview with ANI, she said: “Many people in the country still have negative attitude towards disability. As a country, we have to focus on inclusive education. Being disabled is not in anyone’s hand and there is nothing to feel bad about it. So, instead of focusing on disability we can focus on their abilities.”

Everyone should get equal facilities at schools and colleges which will help build a good attitude and good thoughts, she added.
Topper Ira Singhal had shared a post on Instagram from an event in which she was subjected to verbal abuse by the unidentified person.
