US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti talks Nonesense

US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti admitted that India bought Russian oil but made nonsensical claim that India dissolved  because “the US wanted somebody to buy Russian oil. “The US allowed the purchase to take place to ensure the prices did not go up globally,” he added.

Well time has come for the Biden  Administration to stop making such tall claims infrastructure if the whole world .

Firstly India bought the Russian oil because it needs to import oil . Secondly the rate offered was the lowest and thus a big saving for India . Thirdly Russia is a very close strategic friend and this oil purchase  by India was going  to help them in a big way . How can any Indian forget the USA flottila ex their 7th Fleet, led by nuclear powered aircraft carrier Enterprise sailing into the Bay of Bengal in 1971 to threaten India. Russia had ten stood up as the closest friend with  their flottila, ready to intervene if the US Navy dared .

Garcetti made this stupid claim while  speaking at the Conference on Diversity in International Affairs organised by the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington earlier this week.

The US ambassador was speaking on the subject of the evolving nature of US-India relations and ‘small victories’ achieved in the context of Russia-China influence in the region.

Garcetti also highlighted that due to this arrangement global oil prices didn’t shoot up and “India delivered on that.”  …….by accepting repeated pleas !!!!!!

Gracetti ji stop uttering made up stories. You are in no position to dictate to India on any matter .
