Video : 1971 Surrender of Pakistan Army
On 14 December 1971 Pakistan list the War and Bangladesh was now a totally free country. Entire 90000 Pakistani soldiers would have been lynched as war criminals.
So they quickly surrendered to the Indian Army which gave them full protection as per the Geneva Convention.
