Yunus regime’s Islamist ambitions needs to be crushed
The looming threat of a radical Islamist agenda has taken an alarming turn in Bangladesh, with the emergence of a blueprint for the so-called Islamic Revolutionary Army (IRA).
Spearheaded by the ideological allies of Muhammad Yunus and modeled after Iran’s notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), this initiative aims to enforce brutal Sharia law and export violent extremism across the region.
With its tentacles poised to infiltrate educational institutions, spread chaos through terrorism, and undermine the socio-political stability of multiple nations, the IRA is not just a Bangladeshi crisis – it is a regional and global menace that demands immediate and unwavering attention.
India needs to crush the head of this hydra without delay and hesitation. Having solidified its initial goal of side-lining anti-Pakistan and pro-liberation forces in Bangladesh, Islamist, jihadist, and Caliphate-driven cronies of Muhammad Yunus are now advancing to the next phase: actualizing the blueprint for an “Islamic Revolutionary Army” (IRA).
This entity mirrors the notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, known for its role in suppressing freedom of expression, oppressing women, violating human rights, and perpetuating terror. Designated a terrorist organization in several countries, the IRGC funds and collaborates with jihadist networks, particularly Iranian proxies.
The proposed IRA intends to enforce brutal Sharia law in Bangladesh, eliminate critics, and flagrantly defy international counterterrorism measures.
Preliminary reports suggest that the IRA’s goals include:
• Recruiting members from all educational institutions, including madrassas.
• Establishing ties with jihadist groups in neighboring countries and embedding jihadist operatives in educational institutions,
• Orchestrating terrorist attacks targeting establishments such as diplomatic missions in the region,
• Supplying weapons and explosives to radicalized youth for planned terrorist activities,
• Espionage activities to steal intelligence from targeted agencies in “enemy nations”.
Apart from taking suitable military action , India must support Sheikh Hasina to form a Govt in Exile .
This Govt with help of liberal forces of Bangladesh can then create an Enclave inside the boundaries of Bangladesh .
The IRA’s initial annual budget is estimated at BDT 100 crore (approximately USD 9 million), which it plans to generate through drug trafficking.
No wonder drug related turmoil is going on in the hill sector of Manipur since more than one year .
Also sometime back a super huge drug haul was there in the waters between Bangladesh and Andamans . All these seem to be connected .
Also a sinister force much more powerful than ISI , ISS or IRA seems to be at play here . Additional funding sources include the sale of weapons and explosives to regional terrorist groups.
The Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in collaboration with a key advisor to Muhammad Yunus, has meticulously outlined the IRA’s operational framework.
The plan envisions the IRA as a highly structured entity capable of advancing ISI’s global narcotics trade and executing terror plots across Asia and beyond.
Targeted nations include India, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Bhutan, Thailand, Singapore, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and other regions. In subsequent years, the IRA aims to support insurgent groups in these nations, fostering anarchy and bloodshed.
This aligns with ISI’s broader strategy of funding its operations through narcotics, leveraging its deep ties to drug cartels in Afghanistan, Central Asia, Colombia, and Mexico.
The IRA will serve as a covert mechanism for ISI’s transnational activities, with profits shared among collaborators.
The IRA is expected to operate two distinct wings:
Overt wing: Members will conduct activities in uniform, symbolizing a visible military presence.
Covert wing: Operatives will embed themselves in educational institutions, airlines, hotels, retail stores, shipping companies, research organizations, hospitals, and intelligence agencies.
They will use honey-trapping strategies, targeting individuals in India and Western nations, including the US, UK, and EU countries.
The IRA’s genesis lies in the ideological fusion of Islamic conquest with state-centric governance. This blueprint aspires to sow the seeds of radical Islamization across targeted nations.
Sources reveal that the concept has been presented to influential global figures, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and Alexander Soros.
Allegedly, these individuals support the initiative for its potential alignment with their agendas and its ability to generate substantial revenue through narcotics and other illicit activities.
George Soros, in particular, is reportedly interested in leveraging the IRA for global instability and financial market manipulation.
Defence analysts highlight that the IRA aims not only to establish a brutal military force but also to institutionalize ultra-Islamist ideology, reshaping regional socio-political dynamics.
Recent statements by Yunus’ advisor, Mahfuz Alam (alias Mahfuz Abdullah), about invading Indian territories sparked widespread outrage. These comments, initially dismissed as rhetoric, now appear to align with the IRA’s broader conquest strategy.
The IRA plans to infiltrate educational institutions such as Chittagong University, Rajshahi University, Manarat International University, and Kushtia Islamic University, as well as select English-medium schools.
Male and female recruits will adopt Western attire to blend into targeted societies. Some will pursue higher education abroad under false pretences, intending to indoctrinate non-Muslims into radical Islam.
Female recruits may use romantic entrapment to convert victims and further the IRA’s ideological goals.
The emergence of the IRA poses a grave threat to national security across South Asia and beyond.
Its activities could undermine social cohesion and destabilize targeted nations. Indian counterterrorism and law enforcement agencies must prioritize monitoring these developments and implement strategies to thwart this looming threat.
Special attention should be given to Bangladeshi students in India, ensuring rigorous scrutiny during admissions and throughout their stay.
The creation of the Islamic Revolutionary Army represents an existential threat to peace, stability, and human rights in South Asia and beyond.
Its clandestine strategies to radicalize youth, weaponize education, and destabilize neighboring nations underscore the urgency of a collective and robust countermeasure.
India, in particular, must heighten its vigilance against this looming terror network, ensuring stringent monitoring of Bangladeshi students and migrants.
Moreover, international actors must hold accountable those complicit in enabling this dangerous project, including individuals and entities financing or endorsing its agenda.
The global community cannot afford to ignore the catastrophic implications of this jihadist force. Proactive measures, intelligence sharing, and coordinated actions are critical to dismantling this entity before it gains ground.
The IRA is not just an assault on individual nations; it is an affront to humanity, democracy, and the rule of law.
The time to act is now, for the cost of inaction will be paid in blood, chaos, and the erosion of freedom in the region and beyond.
